A lot of CS:GO pros use 500Hz but I notice that this mouse works better with the standard 1000Hz.

In various aim trainers (in game and in browser) I notice less lag, better responsiveness - on a 60Hz screen.

But at 1000Hz it has more jitter in paint, than at 500Hz, so it's a tradeoff.

@r0ach - Thanks for post. I've been having major issues with the G502 pretty much since I got it which might have to do with me messing with the software a bunch to get my profile fixed up. I've been having acceleration issues, the in-game spinning to top or bottom issue, and I basically can barely aim anymore compared with my G9. I've almost given up on this mouse.

I just went through the steps you gave, and the in-game spinning to the top seems to be fixed. I even disabled Bonjour in services, which I use for cygwin. I'll have to do some more testing, but hopefully this fixes things.

Posted this in the G502 thread:

Logitech Gaming Software 8.70.315 released some days ago

"Bug fix for LGS hang with G502 mouse" and other fixes.

No more auto bonjour install.

It's bugged, can't assign mouse buttons because the overlay does not match the buttons.

And it also installs a Logitech CPU temperature monitoring driver/service.
Pain to delete this via device manager (non-pnp) and registry till the sys doesn't show up in driverview anymore.

It also adds a new Logitech Gaming Software Joystick Translation Driver
to the old Logitech Wingman Virtual Bus Enumerator Driver and GamePanel Virtual HID Device Driver. What bloatware, just to adjust the mouse!

My wrist is never fatigued after using this mouse for any period of time, and I really enjoy using it.

Hi guys, I'm using G710+ and G502 As in the picture, before there was no special driver fr both mouse and keyboard. It came with windows update (red one)

just wondering; under keybord tab 3 HID devices. I know 2 of them is keyboard and one of them is G502. I know it's mice, if I remove mice, one of them disappear. Why G502 is under keyboard tab? How is yours looks like, them same or just happens to me? This also happens with razer (mamba tournament) too.

Thanks.

Pretty sure it's for the number of buttons on the mouse plus the ability to have keyboard presses set to those buttons.

EDIT: Povohat was faster.

I did steps 5 and 6 on my g403, finally feels good again. Improved my aim by 2% up to 22, in bf4. I mean every round is different but it felt really a lot less floaty and more precise.

Also for those that tend to make fun of r0ach seems a logitech rep seems to support that this will work . Ofc that tut is for 502, but worked for 303 and it seems the drivers are buggy so I don't think the sensor really matters. This might indicate that other logitech mice get this issue when you much around with surface tuning and dpi/hz profiles, maybe this deservers a little more attention.

It does work with the g pro. The profiles we are referring to are the ones you swap with the dpi switch button above the mouseweel, that will change dpi/hz profile/setting.

If problem still persist, get this program and replace the other logitech gamming thing: https://support.logitech.com/en_us/software/lghub Is very hard to understand how to setup macros and all, but I got rid of all my problems arround the G502 finally (random power off). PD: I had use my G502 for 2 years without issues until now, we need a hard reset program maybe.

Testing it seems it is still working even on windows 10 and LG HUB...
