I hate LEDs on pc parts. I don't get why these companies don't sell stuff with no LEDs as an option...
My Red Devil 7900 XTX is blinding me right now. A bright red LED strip all around the card. Never really looked into it when I was buying so was shocked when I installed it and seen the red strip.

Wondering if anyone else has had or still having issues with VR on the 7900s..

Can not for the life of me get VRchat to run in a playable manner, constant jitter and the L/R frames getting out of sync REALLY bad.
Played with changing settings in adrenaline, changed some setting in the oculus debug app. I got it to run fine for a few minutes after turning vsync off and turning enhanced sync on in adrenaline.

Trying to figure out if this is still an issue with AMD drivers or windows 11..

Hello! Some help is appreciated.
One week ago i bought 7900 xtx aorus (fell free to ask me about this model).
It is working fine (aside from massive stutters from time to time in WZ Caldera). But yesterday i saw that fan RPM readings in Radeon software and hwinfo are somewhat buggy.

If zero RPM is ON and fans are not rotating (visualy confirmed) at windows desktop I got random spiky readings from 0 to 3000 rpm (shown in the attachment file1).

If zero RPM is OFF and fans are rotating at windows desktop I got random spiky readings from 1000 to 3000 rpm (shown in the attachment file2).

If fans are rotating in games I got correct stable readings which follows hotspot temperature and pwm readings (shown in the attachment file3).

Have someone encountered this behaviour?
I think this is software bug, but wanted to make sure if it is known issue or maybe it is faulty hardware (some RPM readout module).

Radeon software version: 23.2.2 ; 0.25s reading interval.
Hwinfo64 version: 7.40-5000 ; 250ms reading interval.
Windows 11 Pro 22H2 latest version

Thanks in advance!

I have the same card but RPM readings are fine, no issues.

Having the exact same issues here homie. @ is Meekyuu on VRChat. LR frame sync issues, worse perf than my 6800 XT, and all I do is play VR and OC at the moment, so it has been distinctly not-bussin

Lmao **** us I guess.

Well i have a 7900xtx pulse under an Alphacool waterblock. Added a new monitor into the mix so updated the bios and the latest adrenaline software axed my performance in RDR2 by 50%. Anyone know *** is going on?

I also ordered a 7900xtx Nitro + off newegg (get em while they are hot) for the higher power limit. Currently I have lots of thermal limit left, but it wont boost past 2850-2900mhz in game due too hitting the 430w limit of the pulse.

Been having some issues with multiple monitors. I have dual 27" ASUS PB287Q (4k 60hz) mounted above a PG42UQ (4k 138hz). Everytime i reboot one of the smaller screens drops out and takes forever for the GPU too find. It also seems too be contributing too some crashing (no BSOD just reboots).. This has been a frustrating problem.

So it involves soldering and things like that?
I guess that this is due to limitations and will never be possible to do it in any other way, right?

I have a red devil with water cooling and I would like to increase the power limit a bit more.
I have no idea how it works I just read here that you cannot flash another bios without an external flasher.

I am in the same boat.
People on this formum have successfully flashed their bios using a CH341A programmer is your best bet, just make sure you get one with a 1.8V adapter. No soldering. Im looking into doing this myself. Below are the Red Devil liquid bios and the Saphire Nitro plus bios. Download and change the extension from .txt to .rom for each bios. Then google how to use the CH341A programmer. or ask people in thlis forum for a step by step guid on how to flash your bios with this tool.
