Hey, I'm new to DDR5 OC and I got problem identify what the problem is for my DR A-DIE KIT 7200 OC, 7000 pass 1usmus no problem but 7200 give full error #6 and blue screen.

My voltages are:
1.2 SA
1.4 VDDQ TX
1.46 VDD2
1.5 VDIMM
1.5 VDDQ
(Z790i edge last bios and, 13700K 81SP)

If someone can help me pls ?

I'm currently on the same MB with 6400 and 8000 A die.
the mb is so tiny and squished together that heat is #1 issue. Raising voltages will only make things worse unless better than average cooling for the whole mb.

Find a way to cool it better.

Unless your memory controller is really bad, I think the most obvious issue could be the dram voltages are too high.

Try 1.40V or at most 1.45 linked dram voltages no more because A die doesn't like that unless really cold.

Also vdd2 set auto, SA auto to.

Maybe raise VPP and / or cpu aux. I normally run these two at 2.0. Others run at 1.9.

It's just a very difficult mb to cool and ddr5 especially A die needs cooling.
I just think it's imc limitation like affxct said, VDD2 auto don't work for VST Y-cruncher

And I try to run DualRank A DIE not single so that why 7200 is hard

oooh i didn't catch that you were running DR.
even more so then for the ddr5 heat sensitivity causing stability issues.
yeah, i would assume 7200 DR is possible on this mb.
with DR the timings need to be much looser.
Yes the sticks running hot after some time, but I got full error and blue screen in 3s (when the sticks are around 35°C) so I don't think the heat is the problem
7200 DR is possible for the MB since MSI say "DR 7200+ OC" but i don't think my 13700K can do it
And I didn't change timings, only frequency for the moment

MY z790 Aorus elite X can also do 7200+ it only requires more fiddeling than an 2 dimm board. Friend of mine on the same board running 7800 stable and can even boot at 8200.
Currently i am trying to get 7200MHz tight and call it a day for than.
I’m on the same board can boot 8200 , run at 7600 stable H24 (ycruncher,testmem5,kahru,LinX) , 7733/7800 might be possible but I can’t make it stable after cold boot so yes I would aim for 7600 on this board unless you got a godbin imc

Thnx for that info.

My RAM is just not capable of doing more than 7000MHz which is a shame and a bit weird. A friend of mine has the same exact kit only 24GB dimms but he can achieve 7800MHz EZ.

I am getting new ram, this M-die is crap quality. I tried every voltage and nothing passes TM5 longer than 3min..
You could use A die too but sure old m-die is dead now

Bro, I did everything you said and nothing is working..

tWR is auto man it's 14.. I think you guys are giving me A die timings instead or M die cos nothing is working.

I am tweaking for weeks now and nothing works so far.. the new F5 bios is also not working cos I haven't found a single piece of stability since I switched to F5. My other fitness who has the same cpu and motherboard has no issues and works fine.
You should stop using BZ timings first, let tRTP and tWR auto, use tCKE/tXP 18, tWRPRE 60, tWRPDEN 61, tRDPRE 12, tREFI 65535, tRRDL 8, tRFC 448, tRFCpb 364, tRAS 52.

you can add +2 to tWRPRE and tWRPDEN until that pass if not working

Then if you pass you can start thighten Primary and Tertiaries
