Pro trumps the raid.
Good scores

What driver you using for 960 Pro? And is the Spectre patch enabled?

Here is what I get for the 960 Pro with Spectre patch disabled:

Looks like the raid doesn't buy you much. Limited by the chipset I think.

I have the latest firmware for my board that was released a couple weeks ago. I'm using the latest Samsung NVMe drivers and firmware for the 960's other then the Highpoint card which uses it own. My platform, X99, does not support IRST NVMe so that isn't an option. I did notice my scores slightly improving after the latest motherboard firmware update. Understand that it's been a very long time since Samsung had any firmware updates for the SM951's. Officially they were never supported directly through Samsung for end users. I had to hunt for them from HP websites which at one point was using them in their systems.

As far as i can tell from all the posts i read in this thread, i think i have concluded that the 1B6QCXP7 firmware that my 960 Pro has, is totally safe.

I am currently using it in my Y700-17ISK Lenovo laptop and very happy with it's performance.

I can't clearly conclude that the 2B6QCXP7 version is worth the upgrade (nor 03 and 04 firmwares). Am i right or have i missed something?

What's the latest firmware for the 960 PRO now? I currently have 4B6QCXP7

Is that still the latest?

Do these speeds seem a ok (1TB 960 Pro)? Samsung Magician says pcie gen3 x4 and I'm on firmware 2XXXXX. Just installed windows 10 update 2004 on a Maximus XII Hero.

I'm thinking my sequential reads should be closer to 3500mb, but the drive is 3.5 years old with over 18.2TB written and is half filled so wondering if that makes a difference.

Edit: yep the speeds are fine
