24Gbit Hynix Die
It is interesting that tWTRS and tWRRD can be that low. Both of them are at the lowest value that the BIOS allows.
My assumption is that tWRRD is not used with 1DPC 1R setup. Can anyone verify that with 2x16GB?

I don't think it's not used. It can just go really low with Hynix (both tWRRD and tWRWRSCL). Never had any problems running them at 1 in 1:2 mode (both A-die and 24M-die). But do remember on some older BIOS version in 1:1 mode I had to loosen them to 2/3 to boot.

After a few days last week of configuring old a new servers, including an older Dell R730 with 256 GB of R-DDR4 (taken out of a rack for hands-on; that thing is so loud it basically made me go deaf for a few hours), I was going to try out 96 GB of DDR5 on my 7950X3D / X670E Master this weekend....but nah, sanity prevailed, and I just enjoyed my fav entertainment with 48 GB / 8200 + r_BAR + 4090.

Are you forcing on r_Bar using NVProfile Inspector for MSFS and finding a benefit? If so, I would like to give it a try too.

...I am forcing r_BAR on everything anyway via NVInspector and think it is beneficial - certainly doesn't hurt. It is just a bit harder to tell with MSFS2020 on a 7950X3D / 4090 with FrameGen/NVReflex etc since it typically has fps beyond the 4K120 monitor limit. In low flying, dense metro areas, it seems to make a more perceptible difference. The r_BAR advantage is a bit clearer with CP 2077 Ultimate with ultra settings.

Thank you. This gives me the confidence to give it ago. I'm new here. Learning a lot from frequent contributors like yourself, experimenting a ton with A-die on the HDV. I'm much more inclined to receiving advice on this MSFS topic from you, knowing the mindset it takes to work on memory profiles. A more empirical approach around here.

...thanks, though I certainly don't know everything about RAM, either... I just have chased down the rabbit holes of RAM tuning and oc_ing for quite a number of years. Re. r_BAR, I find it works best on newer games and sims, preferably on high res and DX12 (ie. 'DX12 beta' setting in MSFS 2020). I always run 4K settings.

can you please share your voltage ihave so close setup to yours i just need your voltages and thanks bro
...I use 1.45V for VDD for tighter timings, but this is 'native' 1.4V GSkill 8400 2x 24 GB RAM. VDDIO and VDDQ at 1.34V each, the rest is on default for this mobo (Aorus 670E Master 4 dimm)

Anyone tried agesa 1.1.0.3? Any improvements? :)

Squeezing a bit more out of it dropping tWTRS to 1 and tRTP to 6 (I actually meant to try 5 and hit 6 lol).

A little bit of variance between runs I get, but I'd say 1.2x~1.3xmb+ is probably timings helping. Hard to know with DDR5 what bottoming at 1 results in it using something else lol, so its probably tRTP helping here.

Never knew it could go that low. Usually I stick to 12 or 16 for tRTP. Let me try if I can lower it at 6600 and also on my 6200 low VDD profile..

In 1:1 mode it will cause instabilities when set too low. Never caused instabilities in 1:2 mode... but it can cause performance degradation - should be verified with some sensitive benchmarks like PyPrime or even AIDA latency / write bandwidth. Sometimes I get the best results with tRTP 24

Same here, if I set 6 then it will have a higher speed in Karhu but write speed will take a nose dive In AIDA, 12 was always better, but never tested 24 so will test that.

@Kaliz & co ...I know this is the AMD DDR5 thread, but I'm in 'training' for R-DDR5 4 or 8 dimms (not sure yet) for a new work project: Apart from the 3950X / 128 GB with matching tPHYRDL on 4 DR sticks already shown, I now have 8 SR sticks matching tPHYRDL on the older TR 2950X / 64 GB... :D
