So I'm having trouble deciding between which H series to get. I've been searching prices for ages and here's what I've found.

H50 = £60
H60 = £50
H70 = £58
H80 = £70
H100 = £75

So I'm guessing to some of you this is an obvious choice but I've spent hours looking at one vs another and got different results from different sites. I don't really want to spend more than £70 so unless the H100 is miles better than the ones below it I won't be buying it. Also I'm willing to add an extra 120mm fan to any of the ones below the H80 and 100 if it makes them a better deal. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you are cooling a 1155 SB chip then go with a H70 core and add a couple Gentle Typhoons for push pull. that will cool effectively up to 5.0GHz on a 2500k.

If your running a hotter chip (ie, SB-E, 970x, 990x, BD, ect. Go for at least the H80.

I had an older H70 on a 3930k and @ 4.6GHz it was pushing UPPER 70s under load.

Remember that the H100 has twice the rad that the others do. Its a 240 rad. the others are all 120 rads I believe.

I got my H60 off a OCN member too. I had a Xigmatek Dark Knight on before the H60. I dropped my load temps 7*c with the H60. I am happy

Get the Antec unit Bud. I got two of my friends the Antec's and let me tell you the Antec h20 Kuhler 620 Owns everything upto the H70 with just one stock fan. Add a second fan and you are in H80 level. It might be a long shot but I wouldn't be surprised if the single rad 920 with two fans perform close to the H100

£84 and next day delivery is a great price in all fairity.
I'm suprised the prices have gone up though, I only paid a pre-order price of £79.99 back in August.

Best of luck fitting the dual rad and I'm sure we're all looking forward to your opinion on the cooler when you get it fitted.

Have fun.

I was tossing this around for a while, settled on the h100. I like the fact that the heatsink has that fan controller functionality built into it, and it clocks up when you need it, and downclocks when you dont. I haven't had good luck with my fan controller tweaks on my mobo, and dont want to buy an actual fan controller, so this is just as good.

I have the H100 and the stock fans are quite loud in my opinion, even when hooked to the built-in controller of the H100 and set on the lowest of three settings. It isn't terrible but it's definitely not quiet. At 100% the fans are CRAZY loud. I will say that I haven't noticed much difference in cooling between the fans on high vs low speed though. Your other option is to hook the fans to your own fan controller which allows you to set them a bit lower, yet still have good cooling. You can also replace the fans with something better. I just put GT AP-13s on mine two days ago. Dead silent and move more air than the stock fans on 50%. Nice thing about the GT AP13s is that you don't have to run them on a controller of any kind. They are silent at 100%.

So it arrived today and I sent it up along with my new case. Really easy to install took me about 10 minutes. I have the fans set to push air out the top, a 120mm fan opposite my graphics card pulling air in and my psu fan facing downwards. I booted up on the H100's lowest setting and it sat at 27C as appose to my normal 50C with my stock fan. Stuck it up to performance and it still sat at 27C but I assumed that would happen as my computer isn't doing anything. Played BF3 for an hour on ultra 1080p and I was at 40C and my stock fan was over heating on ultra settings. As far as sound goes first keep in mind I have added a 120mm fan to my case and my graphics card has two fans on it. At idle it was completely silent and playing battlefield 3 it was still really quiet I can't believe people complain about the sound of these things? Either their setting it up wrong or their die hard biased air coolers because this thing is quiet really quiet. I'm really happy with this product so glad I went with it. Not only does it work it looks a whole lot better than having a huge hunk of metal hanging of your case.
