I always had this doubt, will it give better thermals a build with an AIO with standard (25mm) fans in a pull or push setup, or a setup with the same AIO but with slim (15mm) fans in a push-pull setup?

I've never heard of good results from thin fans, they don't have much static pressure to work the radiator.

I haven't tried with regular fans, but it works really well with 38mm fans.

I wouldn't bother with slim fans.

Hmmmm.....are you saying you put 38mm fans in push/pull on a CLC? I know you better than that. ;)

I'm going with the write in vote on this one of "It's a CLC.....will it really matter?".

Hi,
Push/ pull on rads period no matter what fan thickness is.
What if it's a GTS and adding push/pull does nothing but make more noise?

Lol you got me there I am a hoarder 😆

Yes I am using those fans right now, they work fine daily since 2006 or 7. I just wipe them down now and then. Actually since I got my datavac I haven’t wiped them. I hate to say this, but my TY-147A developed a mean vibration, can’t use it anymore. I got about 2 years daily use out of it. My TY-143 is still good as is my 147B. Hate to see a good fan go, but cest la vie

Yes, the front two pushers are panaflos, the top pull is a dc centaur iii, the bottom would be a NMB, and the rear exhaust is a panaflo. I use the dc as an exhaust these days, the fans in that pic weren’t optimally placed, as I had just got those two in pull from a friend. That case was a little tight so it was difficult to experiment without gutting it every time. That was an Antec Sonata from 2001 or so
